The Real Coconut : Tulum

"The Real Coconut was born from my interest in nutrition and health, which stemmed from my personal experience with severe asthma as a child, and ongoing health issues.  As I grew up, and then became a mother, I began to make changes in what I ate, and what we eat as a family, and feeling such significant improvements, I input this philosophy into The Real Coconut’s menus, which is where we are today." - Daniella Hunter

The Real Coconut is dedicated to all that is conscious living and follows our foundational health & wellness philosophy that plants form the key to our vitality and that gut health and digestion are paramount to optimum well being.

At The Real Coconut they are grain, gluten, dairy, soy, and refined sugar free, and utilize organic, non-GMO, and sustainably sourced ingredients wherever possible. You’ll still find proteins including fish and poultry. One of Tulum’s most intense juice and tonic menus, with hot and cold beverages ranging from mushroom and adaptogen blend to a blueberry treat mixed with greens.  After taking an intense yoga class at Sanara, I needed to refuel and hopped over to grab a shake, I kept it simple by asking the waitress to bring me her favourite smoothie and a light breakfast.

She recommended the Sanara Piñada Frozen $ 190 Mexican Pesos (which consist of pineapple, medjool dates and bananas blended with coconut milk and ice for a smoothie) and the Very Berry Parfait $180 Mexican Pesos ( which consist of Chia seeds soaked overnight in creamy vanilla coconut milk, layered with our homemade probiotic coconut yogurt, berry compote and topped with berries) . I had also ordered a coffee and a bottle of water which came up to $730 Mexican Pesons before tips ( $50 CDN ).
